Last Updated: [27/06/26]
1. Introduction
BookMyCourier (BMC) provides a courier booking platform connecting customers with independent courier partners. By using our website or placing a booking you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Our Role
BookMyCourier acts as a transport intermediary. Independent courier partners carry out deliveries and maintain appropriate Goods in Transit (GIT) insurance.
3. Quotes
Quotes are based on collection address, delivery address, vehicle, collection option and delivery option. Quotes may change if incorrect information is supplied.
4. Booking Confirmation
Bookings are confirmed only after payment (where applicable) and confirmation by BookMyCourier.
5. Collection & Delivery
Customers must ensure goods are correctly packaged, available for collection and that locations are accessible.
6. Collection Options
ASAP Collection or Dated Collection (AM/PM), subject to availability.
7. Delivery Options
Same Day, Next Day and Within 2 Days are available. Same Day bookings are subject to courier availability. If BookMyCourier accepts a booking but cannot fulfil it due to operational reasons or lack of courier availability, a full refund will be issued.
8. Vehicle Selection
Customers are responsible for selecting a suitable vehicle. Additional charges may apply if a larger vehicle is required.
9. Waiting Time
15 minutes waiting time is included at collection and delivery. Thereafter waiting is charged at £1 per minute and invoiced after Proof of Delivery.
10. Amendments
Bookings may be amended by telephone or email. Additional charges may apply.
11. Cancellations
Bookings cancelled before the courier begins travelling receive a refund less a 25% administration/goodwill charge. Once the courier is travelling or the job has started, the booking is non-refundable unless BookMyCourier cannot fulfil the booking for operational reasons.
12. Delays
If delivery is delayed by more than 12 hours due solely to courier operational issues, BookMyCourier will refund 50% of the original booking fee.
13. Proof of Delivery
Proof of Delivery (POD) will be provided once delivery has been completed.
14. Insurance
BookMyCourier only works with courier partners who confirm they maintain appropriate GIT insurance and other legally required insurance. Insurance claims remain subject to the courier partner’s insurer. Customers must accurately declare goods and values. BookMyCourier does not underwrite the transportation of goods.
15. Customer Declaration
Customers confirm they have authority to transport the goods, information is accurate, goods are suitably packaged, no prohibited items are included and declared values are correct.
16. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure goods are available, premises are accessible, recipients are available and notify any booking changes promptly.
17. Force Majeure
Neither BookMyCourier nor its courier partners are liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
18. Complaints & Claims
Claims should be reported promptly to BookMyCourier, who will liaise with the courier partner. Claims remain subject to the courier partner’s insurer.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
